Mark Bering has over 30 years of experience in the natural gas business, two years of which were previously with Millennium as Vice President of Business Development. During that time Mark was commercially responsible for the Eastern System Upgrade and Valley Lateral projects. Before returning to Millennium in 2020, Mark’s role at DTE Energy has included various commercial responsibilities including the pipeline business, the gathering business and growing the storage business at both Washington 10 and DTE Gas.
Prior to joining DTE Energy, Mark worked for 15 years at Union Gas in a variety of management and business development roles. Mark received his BS degree in computer science from the University of Windsor.
Erich Voeffray has 20 years of energy industry experience serving in progressive management and executive capacities in the areas of finance and general management. As Vice President of Finance, Erich is responsible for the overall financial, regulatory, IT, and human resource activities of the Millennium system. Erich previously worked for DT Midstream and DTE Energy as Director of Joint Ventures and Director of Finance. Erich received an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, along with a BA in Finance from Michigan State University.
Mark has over 12 years of experience in the Natural Gas, Natural Gas Liquids, and Crude Oil business. As Director, Commercial for Millennium, Mark will be responsible for capacity marketing, daily review of market fundamentals, customer relationships, and business development opportunities.
Prior to Millennium, Mark worked in both regulated and unregulated markets, having marketing roles at Dominion Energy, Berkshire Hathaway Energy, and Diversified Energy. Prior to joining Millennium Pipeline, Mark served as Vice President of NGL/Crude Marketing at Diversified Energy, focused on developing the NGL portfolio, asset integration, and identifying optimization opportunities. Mark has BS degrees in Corporate Finance & Resort Management from Coastal Carolina University.
George Flugrad is a seasoned energy attorney with over thirteen years of experience counseling natural gas and liquids infrastructure companies on complex regulatory, commercial, and transactional matters. Most recently serving as Senior Attorney at BHE GT&S, he provided full-service counsel for the former Dominion Energy interstate pipelines and Cove Point LNG, LP, advising on FERC, PHMSA, and DOE compliance, Section 7 and Section 3 proceedings, as well as the lead in-house counsel for three Section 4 rate case proceedings, including Eastern Gas' first rate case in nearly a quarter century.
Flugrad earned an undergraduate degree in economics and played football at Wagner College, as well as a law degree from Seton Hall University - School of Law.
