The Millennium Pipeline Company announced today that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has approved the company to use its pre-filing process to review Millennium’s proposal to upgrade and expand the East end of its system. The project, named the Eastern System Upgrade (ESU), will be co-located along Millennium’s existing approximately 254 miles of right-of-way. The proposal includes:
- An estimated 7.8 miles of 36” looped pipeline parallel to our current infrastructure in Orange County.
- Upgrades to the existing Hancock Compressor Station in Delaware County.
- New compression capabilities at a facility in Sullivan County.
- Upgrades to existing Ramapo Meter and Regulation Station in Rockland County.
The project has an anticipated in-service date of fall 2018.
