The Millennium Pipeline Company announced today that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has approved the company to use its pre-filing process to review Millennium’s proposal to upgrade and expand the East end of its system. An economic analysis done by Concentric Energy Advisors estimates that electric consumers in New York will save $495 million over the first 10 years of the Eastern System Upgrade project.
